Watershed Day At The Capitol, April 29, 2015

Overview

8 am – Noon

CalEPA Building Klamath Room
1001 I Street
Sacramento, CA

Noon – 4 pm

Meetings with legislators at the Capitol
(Make appointments in March and bring them pictures of your watershed!)

Watershed Day is a great opportunity to learn about the political climate regarding the future of watershed restoration in California. It also provides a forum for watershed practitioners and restorationists to meet with their Legislators and let them know that it pays to invest in community-based watershed management.

This year's event continues the California Watershed Network's annual outreach program that first began in 2002 for watershed restorationists, state agency representatives and legislators.

The program will exemplify the benefits of working watersheds and how they contribute to fiscal stability and sustainable jobs.
The event begins at 8 a.m. at the CalEPA Building in Sacramento. Registration is only $40 before April 10, $50 after.
